...and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, where I was born and raised. I began racing autocross December, 2005. Previous to that I had some experience in both indoor and outdoor karting at a hobby level. My brother, Michael Abbate, has been my influence. He excelled in karting and won everything there was to win, as well as achieving many other titles.
In 2009 I extended my experience with tracks days and racing in competitive road course events. My first track day was at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, in Pahrump, NV in April of 2009. By the end of 2009 I continued participating in more events, and also placed within the top 5 of the Redline Events that I competed in. I am continuing to work towards advancing my driving experience with as much seat time as possible.
I plan to do this by entering competitive road course, time attack, and track events. I know I have what it takes to be at the top. In my first year of competing (2006), I placed first in my class, and 2nd Overall in Ladies PAX points, with just 1 point that separated me from first.
In 2010, I will continue to take advantage of all racing opportunities, while mainly focusing on improving personal goals that will get me closer to my desired professional road course racing career. |
